Help with Harmonies? Empty Help with Harmonies?

For Cendrillion first of all.
I murdered my ears by going to a rock concert yesterday and it didn't help so much. :c

I'm terribly horrible awful at harmonies and I need to get my part of Cendrillion finished before the weekdays start because I'm busy with cross country already.

Any suggestions? ;-;

Listen to the harmonies over and over again. If you have a friend who can help you by listening to you and telling you whether what you sing is accurate, that'd be good. If not, then record yourself singing. It doesn't have to be a perfect recording; just good enough for you to know which areas of the harmonies you have problems with. Once you have identified the problematic areas, you can work on it.

That's just my suggestion. Usually, if I memorise something really well, it'll still be in my head even when I go to sleep. Try to reach that 'level'.

Hope it helps.

Well, when I record for duets, right down the whole song, then Highlight parts I need to sing, and underling part for harmonies.

If you can't seem to get the harmonies right no matter how hard you try, then just don't sing it and sing the melody.
It's better to have a wonderful melody than an awkwardly-sung harmony.

Thanks, Kiwi. xD
I would try to sing the harmony, and learn...but I think I'm a bit short on time.
Hopefully, all this advice will help me.

I don't know if I'm too late, but there are YouTube videos on harmonies for Cendrillon.

Due to the restriction of new users posting videos or links on the forums, I can only give you the name and user they're posted under.
